As a precursor to the launch of the Nike SB Eric Koston, 5-time NBA World Champion Kobe Bryant and Street Skateboarding Innovator Eric Koston have bridged two Los Angeles schoolyard sports: basketball and skateboarding. It is undeniable that both basketball and skateboarding have many parallels. Kobe and Eric have given you the best of both worlds and developed a shoe that will look good in the paint or on the board.
The Kobe x Koston is a disruptive yet stylish combination of the Kobe VI upper and Eric Koston’s game changing Lo Ride cupsole construction with LUNARLON technology. 24 pairs will be available for purchase on May 21st at THE NIKE VAULT, located in the Staples Center (1111 South Figueroa St. Los Angeles,
CA 91005).
Proceeds from the KOBE X KOSTON collaboration will go back to where it all starts – LA playgrounds. With the support of The Kobe Bryant Family Foundation, proceeds from the 24 pairs of the KOBE X KOSTON will be granted to an LA school, public basketball court or after school program of Eric and Kobe’s choice.
