Not so long ago a game between the Lakers and the Hornets would have been a premier Western conference matchup.  Tonight’s game just showed the Lakers wiping the floor with another team in the NBA, the New Orleans Hornets 110-99.

Due to injuries the Hornets started this game with limited players, neither Chris Paul or Peja Stojakovic would be avail to help defend the Hornets against the champoin Lakers tonight.  The Lakers have destroyed every opponent placed in front of them with the return of Pau Gasol.

Star Players:

Kobe Bryant had 18 points

Andrew Bynum led the Lakers with 21 points and nine rebounds.

Pau Gasol had 14 Points

Ron Artest had 16 points.

Quote of the night:

“The defense is getting better and better,” Lakers captain Kobe Bryant said. “We’re working really, really hard at it. Energy has been consistent. This is something we feel like we can maintain.”

    Lng as they defense is consistent noone really stand a chance of beating the Lakers, but the test will come Fri. & Sun. I just hope they dnt go thru the whole season blowing everyone out like the Cavs bkuz we all saw where that got them………….LMAO!!!!
